Square Dances and Special Events:
SUNDAES ON SUNDAY -- THE SEQUEL!! We will once again be able to enjoy the delicious flavors of Ice Cream Sundaes and all the toppings on Sunday, March 7th from 2:00-4:30 pm. The calories won’t stick around because we’ll have non-stop dancing at the mainstream & plus levels with our own northeast callers of Gateway & Rural Callers Associations. Lisa Wall will keeping us moving as she cues the round dancing between tips. Bill Chesnut will MC this afternoon event at the Moose Lodge at 5051 Collins Road, Orange Park, Florida 32073
Donations to the dance will be $4.00 per person (or more if you like). All proceeds, including the 50/50, from the dance (above expenses), will go to the benefit of the 2010 Florida State Convention, chaired by Northeast's Bud & Anita Taylor.
The ice cream, bananas, strawberry and chocolate syrup and all the toppings will be provided by the Convention. We hope all the dancers will come out and support the 2010 State Convention one last time, while enjoying fellowship and dancing with other square dancers, and eating as many sundaes as they want!

We plan to have a Gift Certificate ONLY Silent Auction, and are asking each club (and anyone else who wants to do so) to donate one gift certificate to a restaurant, grocery store, department store, or for anything else (i.e. Visa, etc.) in whatever amount they can. You may ask your favorite restaurant or other organization to donate one, which would not cost the club or the individual anything -- or you may collect the money and then purchase the gift certificate in the amount you collected. Gift Certificates have been, by far, the best money makers at our silent auctions ---- most anyone can use them anytime. Just bring the gift certificates to the dance and give them to us and we'll see that they get posted and placed in the auction. It would be helpful if we knew you were bringing a gift certificate (not necessarily where to or for how much) for planning purposes. If you don't have time to let us know, just bring the gift certificate and help us make this last fund raiser a great one for the 2010 State Convention.
As most of you know, holding a State Convention is very expensive and we need to pay the bills by doing fund raising. Let's make this last Sundaes on Sunday dance the best one yet!! Hope to see you on March 7th -- we promise you'll have a great time!!

P.S. If you haven't registered for the 2010 FL State Convention yet there is still time. Contact Bud & Anita (262-7551) and they will get you registered. They also have buttons ($1.00); tee shirts ($25.00) and totes ($10.00) for sale. There is also a raffle for a 46" flat screen TV to be given away at the convention. You can purchase one raffle ticket for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00.
